Why Laundry Owners Hate Software

Building software for people who never asked for software is its own kind of discipline.

Laundry owners do not wake up wanting dashboards. They want fewer mistakes, faster handover, less cash confusion, and fewer customer complaints. Software becomes interesting only after it stops acting like homework.

The hardest part is not features. It is learning which features are fake work invented by developers who have never stood in a cramped shop while three customers ask where their clothes went.

If the software adds friction, it is dead. If it saves two minutes ten times a day, now we can talk.
